Why not get a block of acrylic and lathe it to what you want?

If you have bought a shifter for your car, a clear knob for the bathroom, these are all usually made from acrylic. You might be able to buy it online through acrylic sheet suppliers, they will know how to get the size block you want.

Re: need shifter nob help(custom making one)

Go to a woodworking site and look for bottle stopper blanks. They are the right size for what you need and can get any color design you could possible want, acrylic or wood or even both. Then just turn it down on a lathe or find someone who can do it for you.
I make pens and bottle stoppers as a hobby for extra cash. But now that I think about it I could make shifter knobs too.
If you want to go totally custom, which will cost more but their are people you could find online that can make you a custom made blank. I have been thinking about a clear knob with dice inside it.
Pm me if you want a good website to contact someone for a custom made knob.

If you want to try to make your own go to a hobby store like hobby lobby and look for an acrylic kit. They sell dyes and even pearl to add to it.
