How do these mounts, and anyone have one?

Silly SILLY question.
71 GMC front grille. The parklights that mount in the front grille. How do they mount in there?? I dont have my grill, its at powdercoating and i truly have no clue. lol.

Also, you can not replace the whole light assembly, all they sell is the covers. Anyone have a gmc front light they would be willing to sell?

Looking for this light. I have the lenses, just not the housing behind it.

I think the back tab mounts to the radiator support but mine are not bolted on. They're held in place on the grill with the two screws in the front. I had the grill off about 4 years ago but I don't remember if I they were that way or if I just forgot to install the bolts.

looks like the two screws in the front attach to the grille and not sure if the big bracket bolts up to the back in a more secure way but I would expect it would.

Check out the pic on the bottom left of this page to see the screw locations in the grille.

Hmm. Mine didnt have that bracket. Im sure i can make soemthing. I didnt realize they screwed in. I didnt even see holes there. Its getting powdercoated now so when it gets back i will have more info.

I just need to find another housing though. After 4 years, i lost one.

What bracket are are talking about not having. Those housings look just like mine on my 68.

HAHAHA. thats what those are for.. I have them mounted to my core support still. I could never figure what hte heck they were there for.

Okay, gotcha. You were just showing a pic of the assemblies and I thought those were yours. That's why I asked about the bracket.

re. housings: I'd post in the "want to buy" forum. There's bound to be someone that has some they don't want somewhere. I've read posts of some truck owners converting to Chevy front ends.
