trailing arm question - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Today I put the new poly bushings in my trailing arms and I noticed on the assembly instructions it shows a spacer on each side of the bushing that would fit between the bushing and the crossmember mount. There are no spacers that came with the bushings and there are no spacers on the old rubber bushings that I removed. Should there be these spacers or not?

the only thing that mine came with was the bushings and a sleeve but no spacers!

Okay. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something. Whoever wrote up the instructions must be on drugs or it's just one of those generic, one thing fits all, type of things. Thanks
