8 lug wheel compatibility?

Trying to find some steel wheels that will accept the chrome trim rings for my 71 C20 8 lugger.

To help my search, what year models can I search for to find some?

I like the stock wheels that are on it now but they are the 16.5 inchers that I have read about here being harder/more expensive to find tires for.

Not much help, but any 8 lug will fit except for 99 and later Ford. You need to watch the offset as some of the newer ones have a lot of backspacing that puts the tire quite a ways inside the wheel wells.
