Avoid the replacement weatherstripping made by counterpart. Most of their other stuff is good. I like going there because they ALWAYS have the part I am looking for in stock.

Re: anyone bought parts from truck shop?

I buy from them and have no complaints. Just order about 2 weeks ahead of time (they are a bit slow).

Re: anyone bought parts from truck shop?

I've purchased from them for years, parts for my other trucks and my 72 suburban, they are cheaper but a bit slow, also for the past year or two they seem to have gotten rid or cut back on the tech support, which when purchasing some items may be worth the few extra bucks elsewhere.

I buy stuff from them with no hesitation. They come to the swap meet here in Turlock(350 miles from their shop) and I have bought parts from them at their shop as well. Quality is good, No problems

I buy from them. No problem. They even called me on a part that I had ordered wrong for a specific year. I like em'.

Thumbs down Re: anyone bought parts from truck shop?

They won't get anymore of my business. Here's a post I started on my experience:

P.S. Check the review board section, there may be more.

Re: anyone bought parts from truck shop?

so far I bought some small parts for my motor. Nothing for my 68 just yet. It takes a while to get since Im in MN, but think its better stuff then Lmc and Tons cheaper. My two cents

Re: anyone bought parts from truck shop?

I've bought about $1200 worth of parts from them both at Carlisle and via web order in the last 3 months. Had a couple of items wrong in my last order (out of 32 items) and I had no problem talking to a customer service rep. Ordered the missing/correct items and they shipped them free as was the original large order shipped free. They had a 10% off web special and free shipping if over $300 when I ordered. My Buddy will be picking up front and rear bumpers next week for me when he returns to Carlisle. At $125 each show price, they looked good, and the price was outstanding. I checked them out at the Truck nationals in August. I have, over the years dealt with many 67-72 truck parts vendors. I don't see these folks as being much different than the others, other than their prices being very good in most cases. I do wish that they would send an email listing shipping info when they ship it although if you do call they will tell you when it was shipped and anticipated delivery date.
