67-68 custom hood

custom 67-68 hood, the center ridge was removed to make it a flat hood. decided to go with cowl induction. lots of time to get it to this point. 150.00 local pickup or might be willing to meet within reason.Name: 67 hood.jpg

I wouldn't trust a freight / trucking company to get it here straight & in one piece. Thanks for the offer, but I'm gonna bow out unless we can find an individual making a trip north.

Thanks.

Re: 67-68 custom hood

Can you take some better pics of the welded area? Also, has any body filler been used? What shape is the rest of the hood in? Any rust or warpage due to the welding?

Re: 67-68 custom hood

will try to take better pics tomm, but looks like they welded a 2inch strip as seen in first pic along the bottom and filled in the top in. fit good on my truck just decided to go cowl induction. looks killer with smooth cowl.my bodyman said it looked like they did a pretty good job. you would just have to clean up or hide the bottom. i was planning on putting the factory style insulation on the bottom.
