please help rear end problem
i have a 98 silverado i bouaght from a guy and he did a 76 14 bolt rear swap in it.the 14 bolt has 3.90 gears and he align everything up and did it right.
but my question is i keep breaking the u joint right were the driveshaft bolts to the u joint this is my third one and no shop is really helping me out.what could be wrong. has anyone else done this swap. |

have not done this swap but angle of rearend could be off putting a bind on u joint

Maybe the drive shaft is to long, and when the suspension is compressed the slip yoke is bottoming out, and breaking the u-joint.
