Can somebody post a pic of a 67-72 with spindles, bags and a big notch in the back. I want to see what that would look like, And like I asked before what would it take for me to lay just my air dam on the ground? I have 3" coils and 2.5" spindles. Would I also have to do lower control arms?

This setup is Air Bags, Stock Spindles and a Small C-Notch set-up. I am not sure just how low it will be with a body on the frame.

It is the angle. Wages frame is sweet. The C-Notch and fabrication he did on the 4 link is great work. You guys are a tough crowd!! LOL

on our trucks (67-72) you dont have to go in the extreme on replacing frame rails on my 67 we just z'd the front suspension and notched the rear and it lays rocker I'll post pics once were done completely right now just finishing it up grinding all welds down since we now know its good and on the floor. also im pretty sure it'll work on the 73-87 trucks cause i've looked at my 80 and its just about the same.
might I add that im doing this with the help of my welding teacher its going to count as my final project grade even though thats not till december. Last edited by Chevy_68; 08-20-2003 at 07:47 PM. |
