brake line size????

popped a line on my blazer,the one from front to back,i need to get a new one tomarrow,but i haven`t gotton the old one off yet.
could some one tell me what size and how long do i need to get..
sorry for the dumb ??

I popped a metal line a few weeks ago. On my 71 2wd there 3/16 and 1/4 inch. I found the hole and sliced in a piece with some compretion fittings. Worked great .
