No not really just notched out the bottom of the bed rail and upper frame rail for the neck filler. That's what I did you may not have to.

Bought a 72 long bed parts truck today it has a 454 ,400 trans, ac cab and tilt.Drove it 60 miles got it in my driveway and now it wont start ,starter went bad at least I got it home.

Installed panel and new glass and it was not fun .Must have done it wrong because it was not easy .Any tips ?

Redid front grill and played around with that stupid after market hood that's never going to be perfect.

Started to clean , paint and put together the center console then the rain came .I'll finish them tomorrow .

Wow I love this truck, my 68 is probably going to be similar when done. You are giving me inspiration. Red is my favorite color but I have been on the fence about painting my project Red cause my last C10 was Red. I keep telling myself you already had a Red truck but after seeing yours and how amazing it looks in Red, I think you made up my mind. Now just to figure out if I should go with a Red interior again or Black.

Good job on the build, I love it man.

Thanks for the kind words , it always feels good when someone likes what your doing. Went with red for resale reasons and black interior for a more sporty feel .I know what you mean about doing another project in red considering when you have so many colors to choose from. As far as a red interior, very classy !

I just bought a 72 Short Bed. I live here in Chandler. I love the 67-68 ffront end you used. Any recommendations on where to get a 67 front grill from? Awesome ride Hollywood!
