My opinion would be yes. I think the main qualifier was the gold/ivory paint.

After speaking to the seller, I am convinced it is a 50th.
Now I need Sunday to hurry up and get here.

The key is the 551 paint code. Also, ivory gold interiror for the pickups and fawn interior for burbs and panels.

I would apreciate it.

68 50th Aniversary Burb. The burbs and panels did not have the white under the trim.

What is the most rare 50th combo? I don't think I've ever seen a SWB BB, but that sure would be cool.

Thumbs up

68...cool. I'll assume you put your home addy in there too? That would be awsome if you did the scanning for me...it may come in handy pretty soon.

I have pics of a short fleet 50th on my longhorn site, and I have a van on my hard drive some place... a long fleet 4X4 on my site...
I don't think I've seen a short step yet...

longhornmail,
From what I have heard they were all fleetsides.
As always please correct me if I am incorrect in this line of thought.
I would like to see a 50th BB Swb 4x4.

Have fun

Teeitup, I will let you know what is wrong with the BB. I'm the one that outbid you My buddy is going to pick it up today for me. I'm pumped it really seems like a decent truck. Just curious why more people did not bid on it? I'll post some pics once I get it and have cleaned it up a little.

I think you could get a step, but it would not have the white on the bottom. I know they also made vans with the aniversary paint scheme. I had one 18 years ago and never knew it

My 68 GMC 4x4 SWb has the 50th anniversary colors inside and beneath the white paint outside . Did GMC produce a 50th 68 GMC SWB 4x4's ?

No they did'nt. At least their 50th anniversary would not have been in 68. There is a color called saddle that is real close to the 50th color.
