help i need power steering
ok so when i did the swap i put headers on instead of manifolds and now i i cant mount the power steering pump how did you remount the power steering pump with out the bracket

I had to go to a salvage yard to find this piece. It is a support bracket you will need. Other wise, the pump will flop around badly.

A guy on here I think "Justins 76" made a spacer out of washers....just stack a bunch up and it works....well at least it worked fine for him

Ok I was going to cut the existing bracket to set back further cause the headers won't allow to go back I am still running an ac compressor right above it

Nah don't cut it, a spacer is much easier, they even make a corrected bracket for headers for around 20-25 bucks

Rather than use a million washers, go to the hardware store and get some 7/16 nuts to stack up. The opening is just right for a 3/8 bolt to pass through. Stack up the nuts to get close then use washers to make up the rest of the space. Less to fall on the ground if you ever have to take it apart.
