Free Cab! Good day!
So I have a free cab in the driveway...all I have to do is take it off the 67 frame and put another cab on it(from a 77).
Not sure why he wants to swap a OEM 67 cab for a late model but thats his problem. Any ideas to the easiest way to get the cab off would be great. Going to start the swap on Friday. My truck came with a chopped cab and to get a OEM 67 cab for free is sweetness. Will increase the value by 10fold. It is in great shape too boot. Looking for ideas for something to put the cab on once it is off so I can restor it. Some kind of 2x4 on wheels contraption....

Good news the cab to go back on is a 72.
4 hockey pucks and bolts is all it will cost me.... I get the cab, all the glass, (small window too), doors, all the interior stuff, cowl. Need to build something to set it down on ? humm? |

2'x 3 ft. Just make a rectangle and screw them right on top of each other.
