Re: El Chingon

Finally got the tube bender done and have been playing with it some. I am thinking of building an inner tube structure to stiffen the frame a little. Here are some shots of the tube bender and a 90 degree bend: 1.50" x .095 wall welded seam tube. It sure does a nice job eve the thin stuff.

Re: El Chingon

Bought a cheap, junk, garbage, piece o crap bead roller from harbor frieght and decided to beef it up. If you dont you might as well put it the dumpster. But once beefed up( fast fix) it did o.k. It takes a steady hand to do this, you see every little move in the bead. Practiced on the buggy for my wife before making the bed panels for the truck.

Thanks man, it seems that I have to custom build or adjust every part that I put on it. Gets old quick, but I have never not finished a project

Man you got one nice truck. I like that you are touching it up. Are you in houston? I would like to know if you have a contact for someone to replace the floor in my cab. The reason I ask is I see you are doing some of the body work on the truck. Thanks Daniel

Re: El Chingon

Got the tank bungs welded in and got the column in from pickemup. I went with the stainless column with the floor shift. Looks like a nice piece.

Hey brother, I actually got it running and driving last night. It is pretty neat, and I actually got less then a grand in it. Not a four drive but it will get us around just fine. Now I got to blow all apart to paint it.
