rear mount fuel tank
During the summer, while at a car show I talked to a fellow who said "they" had used a 1974 monte carlo tank complete with the behind the plate filler neck when they did their tank location swap..
I didnt get any specifics about the install other than "it just slipped right in". My question is--- has anyone else heard of this swap? or anything similar. If so-----any difficulties?? I really like the behind the plate filler neck location. |

Re: rear mount fuel tank
i looked in to that a while back and what i got out of it was the fuel was slow to fill ( to flat )and it needed a sealed cap as fuel would leak out from slosh or up hill parking. it works if you have the time to work out the kinks.
