is there a simple way to remove fuse terminals from the fuse block?

I need to clean up my wiring harness and fuse block and the terminals. I have a rust on them from a previous leak and repair a few hacked wires. Is there an easy way to remove the fuse terminals from the block itself to clean up the rust? I can get them out with a few small screw drivers and time, but there has to be an easier way.

'69 GMC by the way.

Re: is there a simple way to remove fuse terminals from the fuse block?

I got a freebie harness from a member here. Wiring was un-cut and solid, but fuse box had a fair amount of surface rust and corrosion. I washed it with some Naval Jelly and then sat down with my DREMEL with a 1/8" burr. Cleaned all the fuseholders and it works great. Just took some patience and several adult beverages, but it serves me well.

Did you remove the terminals, or do it with them installed in the block? I don't want to snap any connectors or damage the block trying to het them out.

I didn't try to remove the terminals. I didn't want to "screw it up", something I excel at. I just sat at the workbench with a big towel in my lap to catch the "crap". Ran the small burr down in the actual curved fuse clips. I kinda' felt like a dental hygenist, cleaning all those cavities. Seriously, I probably spent a couple of hours cleaning it up. Considering the going rate for a "new" harness (~$300+), I think it was time well spent.
