Replacement Shocks

What kind of shocks do you all recommend? I'm looking for stock-ish replacement shocks. LMC seems to be the easiest place to get them, but I don't know anything about the actual product other than they're stock replacements and you bolt 'em on and go. Looking for something at a reasonable pricepoint, but want good quality. Anyone have a recommendation?

Monroe has decent quality and price for something close to oem. I went with the Gas Magnums;

I'm happy with the 9-way adjustable Ranchero's I put on a couple years ago. Really helped the ride quality.

Thanks for the feedback guys. Not sure what I'm going to do yet, but I am looking into both brands you mentioned. In your experience, is it worth spending more $ on shocks? The ones from LMC are $20 each. The ones you're talking about are 3-4 times as expensive. Just want to be sure, since I know nothing about shocks. Thanks again.

If it's just something you plan to toy with on the weekends or drive occasionally, then spending less on shocks might make more sense.

I drive mine everyday all year, and we also do some off roading in the mountains. So it made more sense to me to go with adjustables. I turn them down to full soft while offroading so it doesn't pound the kidneys so much
And I actually found that a medium setting for the front and about 2 clicks softer on the rear work nice for street driving. Since the rear of these things are sprung a bit too stiff anyway for such a short wheel base.

Before the adjustables I had a set of heavy duty gas shocks, either Monroe or some other name brand (can't remember but they were yellow) and it road like a spring board.
