First off I am glad I started this thread. Thank you everyone who weighed in with advice links and their thoughts, it has all been very helpful. I am still undecided, will figure it out when the ol' ladies 56 is on the road. I will say I agree with bigblock 73. If you have to cut up a rig so much that an teenage Amish girl knows what you did its a cry for help. Subtle smoothing of the body just a smige out of the roof, maybe suicide doors. Less is more is defiantly the way to go. You want your ride to stand out and be one of a kind, for folks to admire it and know its custom but not be able to put their finger on everything you did. A little mystery goes a hell of a long way. Anyone can get some off the wall paint and stickers hack their ride to piece's, and stick out at a show but it will never stand the test of time and be a true classic.
