Does anybody know what the book time is to change a pater pump on an 02 Suburban with a 5.3??? Just want to know how much time to prepare for. Thanks

Calls for about 2 hours but you can do it in about an hour

Actually the tool i have is an attachment for an air hammer. It comes with a wrench with a slot cut in the side of the handle area and you hook the air hammer attachment into the slot and give it a quick rap (with the belt still on to hold the pulley). Pops the big nut loose instantly so you can just spin the fan off in a matter of seconds. works great.
