stumbled across a swb frame tonight
hey guys kinda a pointless post but thought id share, tonight i was with a buddy up behind his property and there was a 67-70 swb leaf rear 2wd frame with a stripped cab on it. dont know if its someones project or what and it was too dark and the grass/weeds were too long to see if there was a box around but there has gotta be, i wanna go snoop but i dont wanna get shot at...and i have no room or even use for one but its kinda one of those things that gets me excited......

i know what you mean, every time i see a 67-72 drive around i wonder what options it has and how much it would cost me. one of the more interesting ones is a 67-68 Burb parked on an abandoned lot in the middle of nowhere, I would have gone to check it out, but there's a fence.
I wish there would be some 4x4's around here tho. All i see is swb and lwb 2x4's, ranging from real nice to beat to snot farm truck. no blazers either, and only the one burb.

Everytime I see one sitting , I just wander into the guys yard and knock on their door. It's unlikely that you would get shot around here, but I find if you ask the owner about it, they are more than happy to talk about it. Or they may tell you to F@CK OFF and slam the door in your face we are hoping to look at our shorty this weekend. We bought it sight unseen from a trusted classic car guy in town. But it's an hour and 20 minute drive to go see this beast

good luck dubie, you getting just the frame or a whole truck?
i want to ask about this one, but when the time is right i will, no need for a frame right now and no room even if it was cheap, and i know it isnt going anywhere...well i hope
