Which brake line kit?

Just finished installing 2.5" drop spindles and 2" drop springs on my 67. The brake hoses are real long. The 67 routed the front brake lines behind the front cross member. Later models have them routed in front of the cross member. Should I buy new holders and move the brake hoses to the front of the A arms and order a brake line kit for a 72? Or get shorter hoses and route them the way they were originally? I was planning on getting them from inline. Thanks

Re: Which brake line kit?

I would use the original style steel lines for the 67-70 trucks.
I don't see an advantage to switching to the 71-72 style steel lines,... UNLESS you install a 71-72 crossmember in your truck,... and there's no reason to do that.

Re: Which brake line kit?

The stock hoses for the disk calipers should work just fine

You don't think these will be too long?

Re: Which brake line kit?

I don't.
Route them under the control arm,
I actually have longer 73-87 hoses on my bagged blazer, because the original 71-72 hoses were stretched tight, when air'd out.
Your a-arms will go up when you put weight on the chassis.
