Your truck looks great! I really like that you're making a lot of the parts yourself, and I'm totally envious of the A-arm jig you made.

That said, nobody has commented on the bolt-in notch idea yet. Personally, there's no way in Hell I'd ever feel comfortable driving a truck with a bolt-in notch that big. You sir are completely correct. Ive accepted the fact that my powdercoat is gonna get messed up at some point. that being said, im doing a weld in notch that is in the design process as we speak. i decided to do a fuel cell between the framerails behind the rear end and I'm not comfortable with that much weight bouncing around back there on a bolt in notch.

just read this whole post, and wow this is a sick truck already cant wait to see more, im in the middle of buliding a 1983 chevy swb stepside and now i want to bag my truck, just need to find the right places to buy the kits to do so keep up the great work

This truck will be sweet, but just think of how cool the next one will be after you get all this under your belt............. watch out porter! hahahahahahahaha!

and yes I would say porter is probably the best in this game!!!!!!! but I know you got it in you just need some go for it juice!

No truck update but i did do a set of doors for an old customer of mine. Suicide, with slam style latches and removalble.

nothing lately, trying to start a company and trying to move into a bigger house doesnt allow for much time to work on the truck. still building it in my dreams though...maybe this weekend ill get to tinker a little.
