Re: Let's see the plug wires!
If you are running the stock ram horn exhaust manifolds, stock wires should run down the back of the block and underneath the manifolds.Wires for cylinders 1 and 3 and 2 and 4 actually run up through between the motor mount and the block. Wires have 90 degree plug ends. There are two 4 wire looms on the back L & R of the block and two sets of 2 wire looms that bolt to each side of the block. There is also a loop type holder on the side of the block to keep the front 4 cyl's wires from contacting the inside of the exhaust manifold outlet as they run forward along the block.

Re: Let's see the plug wires!
Whenever I score a set of Vortecs I grab the wire retainers as well... Drill them out for a 5/16 bolt and relocate them to the rear of the heads... they work great and its a free mod.

Don't mind the rusty exhaust manifolds. Here's mine. Second pic is how they're routed. Hope this helps?

Re: Let's see the plug wires!
I ran my wires down below the headers and was able to arrange them so they did not touch each other.I think its a nice clean look and get compliments on a tidy engine bay.I've pulled my motor so these are the best pics I could find.My chief mechanic is obstructing the view badly in the first pic.

I have the clip for the tranny lines on and I'm not sure I have it in the right place either.
These two hold the spark plug wires. i just don't know exactly where the bolt on. Thanks. Tim.

Re: Let's see the plug wires!
I love these ideas, I'm thinking about going with looms, they are looking the best so far. I just have an issue because one of my wires has an issue with my headers, will post pictures tomorrow. They are hooker competition headers.

Re: Let's see the plug wires!
I can't wait to get mine back out, I've got a 355 with 2.02 alum heads and a high rise intake. Runs great, hard to keep traction.

Re: Let's see the plug wires!
See, now you guys are worried about heat, headers, clean routing, and brackets. The easiest way to keep the heat off your wires, is put the wires on one side, and the manifolds on the other.
