Re: help lowering first timer
That looks like a 4/6 drop.
You would need: 1) 3" drop spindles 2) 1" drop springs (or cut 1/2 coil from your stock springs) 3) rear flip kit 4) drop shocks on all for corners 5) rear shock relocators and stock rear shocks are another option Look at McGaughy's, Belltech, DJM, Western Chassis for sources of good products.

Re: help lowering first timer
Front wheel and tire combo will be too wide.
Some people have issues trying to run a 15x8 rim.

Re: help lowering first timer
I have a unique project in that I am going to put an older C10 cab on a '73 c10 frame, more options for lowering in my opinion....
I want ask your opinions on JC Whitney's Western Chassis lowering kit.....3'' in front (via coils and spindles) and 5" (via flip kit) on the rearHere's the link.... http://www.jcwhitney.com/suspension-...wx?filterid=j1 The one I need is about a $100 more (1973 c10)...So what do you all think? My main concern is that the front end doesnt end up nose up.... Any info/opinions would be greatly appreciated..... el_bole '61/'73 c10 |
