Advice for radio for 1952 GMC.
Seems like mixed feelings on custom audio sound equipment. There is resto sound but nobody gave a review. Anybody have any input? Thanks.

Re: Advice for radio for 1952 GMC.
do you have the original radio?
I really think the originals LOOK best, but of course you probably want actual sound too! Here are some options: http://mikehaganantiqueautoradio.com/ http://www.antiqueautomobileradio.com/ |

Re: Advice for radio for 1952 GMC.
New, up to date quality unit with everything HIDDEN. No visible head unit upon first look and no visible speakers or amps. I don't like the looks of a new radio in an old dash and I sure don't like to see speakers sticking out in the open for everyone to see. I have a custom made dash in the 48 and the head unit is in the dash while the speakers are in boxes by the kick panels and behind the seat but the next go around is going to be cleaner.
The head unit will be behind a swing down panel in the dash that is going in the truck. It's one I saved from my first car after I replaced it with a different dash but it will have a custom instrument panel in it. |
