Here is a rare set of NOS Bullseye Lenses. These are clear, no chips or scratches. Perfect lenses correct for 1967-1970 trucks. The boxes are long gone but they are marked GUIDE IT 5959462 and 5959461 $150 shipped to your door. I'll get some pics up later this evening.

Because I took them out of the boxes. Check my build thread. NOS parts are common in my household.

Plus, no way they'd be that clear if they were used. I know they aren't cheap but I'm actually surprised they didn't sell already. For someone doing a factory correct restoration on a 67-70 this is a true find.

In 1971 the lens pattern changed to the cross-hatched pattern. The lens itself on the cross-hatched is marked with the code GUIDE 8TA SAE R71 (mould made in 1971), whereas the bullseye pattern is marked with GUIDE IT SAE R67 (mould made in 1967).

Why does your truck have the bullseye lens? I am not sure. Maybe an early 1971 production model? Possibly replaced (but unlikely) at one point in its early life. That is a good question. Most likely is that even though GM designed and used the new pattern in 1971, it's possible that some plants used the old lens until they were depleted before using the newer one to cut costs. That's my guess.
