Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Burbans!

Really nice bagged suburban!
I like the pictures with that old shed on the background, really retro. I like old barns/sheds/factorys etc. Nice places to take pictures.

Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Burbans!

Thanks, the farm is about two miles from us and the owner keeps it for people like us. He has animals with names, just for the kids in the subdivision around here to pet. We have some friends in Slagharen, are you close?

Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Burbans!

Has it been a tobacco farm? A friend of mine in Belgium has bought an old tobacco-farm where they made sigars in 18??-19??. On the old pictures you can see the fisrt A-fords driving through the village.

Slagharen is about 60 miles. Everything is near by in the Netherlands . About 2,5-3 hour drive and you are from north till south and driving into Belgium.

It seems that everybody on this forum has some friends over here

Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Burbans!

the spot light glass is broken and the plastic handle is rotted and falling apart but it is running good now. I was fighting a fuel issue for a few days, discovered i need a new tank, blew out the lines, replaced the fuel pump (that didn't need to be replaced) and cleaned out and checked the pressure regulator only to discover the float needle was sticking.

nice burb! it's probably the whole bulb (the glass) I actually have an NOS one but they also make them still through unity if it's a unity brand one (looks like it from the pics)

Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Burbans!

Well I finally finished my body swap...and just in time. I am getting transfered to Ft Lewis, WA ( where the weather sucks, from beautiful El Paso) which means I will most likely see another tour for Afghanistan.... Meanwhile i have got some stuff done on the truck...

and they said a full body swap couldn't be done over the weekend...lol

swapped a somewhat rusty '71 barn door body for a '69 tailgate style with less rust and better body.

Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Burbans!

took a break from getting a few odds and ends done and had a Texas favorite..Whataburger up at McKelligon Canyon with PFC Melchor, my nephew, who just got stationed here. It stinks that after 21 years in the Army, I finally got a family member to join and be stationed with me...only to get transfered... waahhh!
