Re: X-Mass truck parts
If I got my wife a new oven that would mean she would have to cook more

Re: X-Mass truck parts
I'm with Dunenutt.....there's nothin' under the tree with my name on it! Hasn't been ever since our daughter came along. Besides, my wife is the last person who would actually encourage me to keep working on the truck. 'Bout every other week she tells me to "haul that POS to the scrappers-'cause it ain't ever gonna be finished and I want to park the Beemer in the garage".
Someday I'll have to add up all the $$ she has in 3 closets and an entire spare bedroom chock full of clothes, shoes, bags and other "female accoutrements". That will probably be the day before I'm no longer married- so I'll just let it ride......gnome sayin'?

Remington is one of the few companies that still makes stuff here. My dad still uses his 11-48 when he is up to walking a bit in the field. He bought that new in 1952. Whats the story on this new Versa Max? I can't swing a dead cat without hitting an advertisement for it. The TV commercial even got that grizzled old quarterback (Brett Far-vra) out pitching it.

Re: X-Mass truck parts
No truck gifts for me, the wife and i don't buy anything for each other on any holiday we put all money that would have been spent on gifts toward our future house fund so we can be dept free early in life hopefully.
