Straight 6 Tins... Oil Pan, Valve Cover, etc.

Hey I have a 68' Chevy C10, with a 250 inline 6 that I'm rebuilding right now. I found all my internal parts, pistons, rings, cam, and what not.

My problem is I can't find a stock Oil Pan or Valve Cover anywhere... PLEASE HELP

As far as I know you only have 2 choices.Either used or aftermarket. There will be no stock appearing aftermarket ones and so if that's the direction you want to go,you will need to find good used ones or at least some you can straighten. There are a few choices out there for aftermarketbut you can usually buy smallblock sets cheaper.Good luck with your build.

BTW 230,and IIRC the other 6 cyl tin will fit, except for 292.

Re: Straight 6 Tins... Oil Pan, Valve Cover, etc.

I have a nice set on my inline 250 in my 68 c10. I am going to part out the truck as the frame broke. I dont know what kind of price you were thinking as the motor runs great, but if i got a decent price I would pull whatever motor parts you need off of it. If interested PM me.Thanks
