Matrix Headlights Indexed Wrong??

I bought a set of Crystal Clear headlights from Classic Industries. They're made by GR Motorsports and they're branded "Matrix"

Anyway, they are "indexed" wrong. Meaning that where "Top" is cast into the lens is sitting at about 1:30 instead of straight up.

I doubled checked with the sealed beams that were in the truck and a second set of european 7in H4s I have for another project and those index correctly.

Right now I think I'm stuck with a pair of headlights that are unusable. I've had them too long to return them.

Re: Matrix Headlights Indexed Wrong??

I had the same problem with a no-name brand of headlights for my GMC. Two indexed correctly & the two high beams didn't. I notched the headlight bucket so that they indexed properly & they appear to work a-ok.

Re: Matrix Headlights Indexed Wrong??

I'm going to take them back to Classic next week and see if they'll do anything.

Heck I'd even be satisfied with a store credit.
