Re: Project '86
Got the dash cut out today.
I'm undecided on whether I want to find some cool old dash and graft it in or make something like this from scratch. Right now I am leaning towards making one unless someone has something cool they would part with. |

Re: Project '86
You should build a dash from scratch. whenever i see dash's out of other vehicles they always seem to be out of place. You have MAD skills so I know it would be cool. Just my .02

Re: Project '86
your friends must get sick of you calling them to take the cab and bed off every week. the rc car videos are pretty cool too.
as for the dash, how do you think a 60-66 dash would look. i bet you could do someting pretty cool with it and it would tie in with the hood |

Re: Project '86
The vid was kewl. I must say you should get the award for the best metalwork in a outside garage. Hell ... I've seen worse from high end closed in shops.
Please continue. R46 |

Re: Project '86
Thanks guys, no updates yet. The steel supplier couldn't get the size I wanted so instead of notifying me they just didn't place the order. I now have a 5x10 sheet on order that should arrive any day now.
