Manual Choke Question
I have a manual choke installed in my truck. When the lever is pulled all the way out the flap in my carb moves to what looks like a 45 degree angle, when the lever is pushed all the way in the flap moves to a vertical positon. So the question is... When I'm driving my truck does the flap need to be angled(lever pulled out) OR does the flap need to be in the vertical position(lever pushed in)

Re: Manual Choke Question
If its warmed up enough idle and run on its own push it in so the flap is verticle.

Re: Manual Choke Question
Once it is running the flap should be vertical so as to not restrict any airflow. It should close almost all the way when you pull the knob out to start when it is cold - you may need to adjust it.
