Re: Al's 71C10 Rebuild
Al... it was installed on this truck "Lucy" that n2billet built. I've got pics at home but I know that Keith will have them for you in a a few.
http://www.67-72chevytrucks.com/vboa...highlight=lucy n2billet basically removed the "kick out" that cuts into the rear inner fender to allow for more travel. On my truck the rear BS is 4.75" IIRC and if I were to every bag my truck (not going to happen) I would have to remove the "kick out" in order for my truck to lay out properly. If the pics aren't posted soon I'll round them up tonight.

I decided to install my painless under dash lights tonight. Great product super easy to wire up and it is really nice and bright in there now.

Re: Al's 71C10 Rebuild
Hey Al, Sorry if I you mentioned it elsewhere already, but are you running a 67-70 diff or 71-72 diff?
I'm hoping the 20x10 w/5" b.s. will fit my 71 with my porterbuilt t/a rear and narrow 67-70 diff. Jason

Re: Al's 71C10 Rebuild
Lights are nice touch. I was looking at the dash of your truck in the first part of the thread. Your truck used to be light yellow. That was the same color my truck was. Kind of funny.

Re: Al's 71C10 Rebuild
I had the left front air line blow out in my truck a few weeks ago, I bought a stailess steel union and got the line fixed but it was more of a band aid so I ordered 30 ft of air line as I want it to be perfect. I went ahead and ran a new air line plus I added a thermo sleeve on both front air lines as we believe the reason it blew up was because the header is relatively close to the air line and the heat melted it. I dont want to take any chances so I am hoping that it does not happen again.

Re: Al's 71C10 Rebuild
Went to a huge car cruise in miami with my brother in law and my brother. Did not take Picts as I forgat my camera however my sister in law took this picture cell picture as they were driviing next to me in my brothers 85c10. Even though is blurry I think it looks cool....I received lots of compliments about my truck ....You can see my brother in laws camaro on the left lane.
