TH350 and Driveshaft question

Bare with me if this is a stupid question, but im building a truck utilizing a 68 C10 chassis with factory axle on trailing arms. I have installed a SBC 350 with a Pontiac 350. I need to build a driveshaft for it and have found a 69 C10 shortbed in the scrap yard. It has a manual transmission in it. My TH350 has (obviously) a slip yoke at the output housing. The junk truck has a slip yoke built into the shaft itself and it mounted to the transmission the same way as the yoke on the axle, with small u bolts.
Can i just swap the output shaft yoke on the driveshaft with the TH350? Will it be a problem having 2 slip yokes built onto the driveshaft?

By the way, mine was a long bed, converted to short bed, eliminated the carrier bearing, and the junk truck is a shortbed.
If it is a problem having 2 slip yokes, would it be okay to weld the dlip yoke built onto the shaft solid and let the slip yoke into the trans do all the work?

EDIT: I dont know for fact the junk truck has a 3 speed, it is a manual on the floor though.

The junk trucks shaft looks like this.
Can i just remove the front ujoint and install a new ujoint with the TH350 slip yoke?

You cannot have 2 slip joints in the same driveshaft. A short TH350 and a 3-sp manual are the same length, you should be able to use that shaft if you have it.

That's what I thought.
Problem is I don't have any driveshaft. On top of that, I moved the engine/trans back in the frame 12" and down about 3", then the rear end was moved forward about 1". So I defiantly have to modify whatever drive shaft goes in.

Does anyone sell just the flange for driveshafts?
I can cut the entire front section of this shaft off to rid the built in slip yoke and install a normal flange.

I have a Gear Vendors overdrive in my CST so I had Englewood driveshaft build one for me. He is an honest guy and does great work. Small little shop but he seems to be able to build anything driveshaft wise. It is the only place I will go for driveshaft work. Just my 2 cents worth...

I had bill build me a 6" shaft for my cummins a while back and also lengthen a motorcycle shaft for me too. He's an awesome guy. They were my 2nd option if I couldn't make one work myself.
Maybe I'll swing by there and get a price from him as a backup.
