Yeah, there isn't really and suspension though. its always slammed. it still rolls though. just scrapes on cracks, which is perfect.

Re: The Wagon and Pedal Car thread.
start'd out with an old wheel barrow. narrow'd it 6 inch's, built a tube frame and paint'd it to match the MonteCarlo.

Re: The Wagon and Pedal Car thread.
Going to pick up a wagon that my granddad made for me close to 40 years ago. It's been in my uncles basement for years. I'll try to get a pic loaded tomorrow night.

The first wagon was stolen from my front yard. The second one is still in my living room and will hold the flat screen soon.

Re: The Wagon and Pedal Car thread.
Last time I post pics of the wagon I promise!
Found these pics online from a car show. I think my wagon has been photographed more than my truck lol. We had a running joke at the last show that My wagon was a magic trick that made whatever it was in front on disappear!

Re: The Wagon and Pedal Car thread.
Does anyone have a model 1800 Radio Flyer wagon? It is the one with the deep tub. I need a date of manufacture so I can order a new tub. I'm in the process of doing a regular Model 18 style but the wife doesn't like how low the sides are and is afraid the kids will fall out easier. So if anyone has a date of manufacture it would be of great help.

Re: The Wagon and Pedal Car thread.
Heres what I started with and what it is so far. Those are the wheels and tires going on it underneith of it. I painted it '66 GM light green. I will be putting white and orange pinstriping on it as well.

Re: The Wagon and Pedal Car thread.
Fresh stripes. I guess on the top pic you can barely see the stripes but they go around the radius. White on the inside and orange out. The orange ends above the striping on the back and it ends with flame licks facing each other.

Re: The Wagon and Pedal Car thread.
Looks like a lot of fun. Great way to get the kids into wrenching/welding too. Mine kind of groan when Dad wants them to work in the garage - modifying something would probably get their attention.

Re: The Wagon and Pedal Car thread.
My son is into trucks pretty big but he is only 4 and my daughter is only 2 so they don't get the concept of building stuff of this scale yet. I just wanted a wagon for the car shows so my kids feel special when they are getting pulled around in it. The wagon is far from done though, I have a few tricks up my sleeve still. I also need to get the chassis finished as well.
