Wipers are slow, then stop.
I have a 79' GMC with the standard two speed wiper switch. After the wipers have been running for a while they will start to slow down then eventually stop. If I leave the switch "ON" they eventually start back up. If I turn the switch "OFF" and "ON" a few times eventually they come back on. When the wipers come back on they work fine for sometime and other times they don't.

Re: Wipers are slow, then stop.
Check your fuse, mine was having similar issues and I took the fuse out and cleaned the contacts, and it solved it.

Re: Wipers are slow, then stop.
a while ago i was driving at night and my lights dimmed and my wipers slowed down to a snails pace. it ended up being a connection to my alternator, it was loose adn dirty. i cleaned it up a little and plugged it back in and it fixed the problem.

Re: Wipers are slow, then stop.
The first thing I always check in this situation is the ground wire. 9 times out of 10, its going to be the issue with the symptoms you describe.
