Timing sbc, sorry have to ask again
I know I know, another timing question...
well, since I got rid of the ol tired q-jet and stock manifold and added the 600cfm performer and alum intake I was wondering with this added to my all ready mild built 350 with Roller set up, WHERE should I be set at for timimg? I am set right now at 12 degrees..... what are you guys running with similar mods? truck runs pretty good right now.. slight pop out of exhaust when letting of throttle coasting..... slight!

Re: Timing sbc, sorry have to ask again
12* is probably a good starting point, adv it until it pings then back off a lil
shoot for total around 36

Re: Timing sbc, sorry have to ask again
Pop in the exhaust on deaccel is likely an exhaust leak.
