Nice wheels, one of my favorite styles!

YB, if it wasn't so expensive to ship them to Alberta I would... guess I'll just have to stare at them for a while. I know it's a long shot, but you don't know Travis Tonge do you? He's from there.... along with the other million canadians I'm sure, lol

The wheels/tires look good even though you can't run them for the time being.

What are the specs on the wheels/tires?

Re: I'm In the Club

The first picture is about 2 miles from my house. Scott asked me to take him and his crew to the beach. it was cold as crap that day. Cudos to the young guns for a 22 hr ride to come and get my old girl. When i was a kid I would ride my bicycle to a store 1/2 block from there to get a bag of candy from the drug store. It was a 10 mile ride to and from.

MY OLD GIRL WENT TO A GOOD HOME!!!

Chip, I felt bad for you too when the accident happened as I knew you took good care of her. I won't let you down. The best is yet to come. No plans to build a show pig, but should be one fine driver. Still planning to take her to Cruzin the Coast this year!!!

Frame is straight and all major pieces have been purchased. If the supplemental is approved, deconstruction will begin this week.

Re: I'm In the Club

DUDE! You're a car guy! a build could be replacing the headlamp. Just because you chose to pull the body off the frame to do that proves so. I have been guilty of taking a 5 minute job, and weeks later, I am very happy. Take care of my old girl. It's still lonely in my garage, but things are shaking. Went to look at a 20 yr old Harley saturday. Said to have 1200 miles, well they needed to add one zero. 12,000 miles! Left with YOUR money that day!! haha

Re: I'm In the Club

Full '68 front clip is here. Got a few trim pieces in route and a couple more that I'm still trying to source. Also got a few extras that I didn't exactly "need" bit should make her a little more fun.

Chip, you sound like me, sell one toy only to buy another. I had only had my Trans Am sold a couple days when I called you. I knew the money was spent as soon as we talked lol.

Re: I'm In the Club

You ruined my Friday after talking to you and now reading your thread my heart sunk when I saw the crash pic. Glad its coming together.
On a funny note my wife loved our original yellow and when I showed her your pic SHE PUNCHED ME for painting mine orange.
I also belong to woody club here in San Diego and watched a friend of mine cruising in front me get hit by a drunk running a red light. Totaled the woody.
I have a place in our local mountains called Lake Arrowhead. We have a Woody show of boats and cars 1st weekend in June up there every year

Re: I'm In the Club

Shawno, that's some serious motivation. I love the full trim.

Schwinn, looks like you dable in everything, my other hobby is bass fishing (good excuse to own a 95 mph Allison Bass Boat huh, also had to supercharge my Silverado SS to be sure it would be an acceptable tow vehicle), guess I'm lucky and didn't total mine like your buddy's woody. Mine will ride again. Glad to hear your wife liked the yellow, haha. Like I said, it's grown on me.

If you need my help just call me. Struggling to find a way to spend your money. haha. I am in my garage and there is an empty bay. There is no telling what might replace the Blazer. Getting older, and am not sure what might be my CAR FIX!
