L6 motor mount question
I'm replacing my dying 250 with a well maintained low mileage 250. I'm doing a few maintenance items while I'm in there, one of them being all the dried out/cracked motor mounts.
So I ordered them from Rock Auto and the front mounts look nothing like the originals. From what I've searched here the mount style may have changed due to safety reasons, but I haven't found any clarification on what it looks like. So can anyone verify that I have the correct mounts? What was on the truck looks like the one on the left. The new ones I just got look like the one on the right. So are these the right mounts? I can just bolt them in and run them with the original perches? Thanks for the help!

Re: L6 motor mount question
In that picture, are those 2 items in the lower center round hollow spacers? If so, I think they are unique to the 292 right side mount. Maybe you got 292 mounts instead of 250?

Re: L6 motor mount question
That was a picture I came across on the forum and I used it because I'm lazy.
Here's an actual picture of what I have. All the holes line up, the top ridge doesn't quite line up, but I think thats because the original mounts are squished and deformed. There are no sleeves in the holes and there is a threaded section in the center hole.

Re: L6 motor mount question
In your bottom picture the mount on the left is the original, the one on the right is the uprgrade safety mount which prevent the engine from lifting up in the event of a failure, it will bolt on fine.

Re: L6 motor mount question
Thanks!
I've ordered a lot of stuff from RockAuto in the past few years and occasionally get an incorrect part, so when I opened the box and saw these I wasn't sure what if they were incorrect or not. It's nice to have people the can help me figure out what the hell is going on.
