Goodguys - K.C.
Anyone going to the Goodguys show out at the Kansas Speedway Sept. 19th-21st? I'll be out there all weekend in the '67. I was hoping to have it painted by then, but it ain't gonna happen I met and talked with "ucmydust68" a couple days ago and he said he'd be out there. I'm also pretty sure "Long Knight " will be there. Anybody else? Last year was the first show and there were close to 3000 cars/trucks. I suspect there'll be at least that many this year.

It's right off I-70..... very easy to get to. I'm not sure how familiar you are with KC, but when you get to downtown KC you have the option of going 670 or 70. 70 will take you north around downtown. 670 will take you straight through it and save you a few minutes. So when you approach downtown, stay to the left and take 670 which will turn back into I-70. Here is some info and maps off the Kansas Speedway site....
Kansas Speedway is at the intersection of Interstate 70 and Interstate 435, about 15 miles west of downtown Kansas City, Kan. You can access Kansas Speedway via Interstate 70, Interstate 435, State Avene and K-7. Off Interstate 70, take the 110th Street / Speedway Boulevard exit (Exit No. 410) and head north. Off Interstate 435, take the State Avenue exit. You may also take the Parallel Parkway or Leavenworth Road exits and head west to Kansas Speedway. Off K-7, take State Avenue or Parallel Parkway east to Kansas Speedway.

Do we want to try to pick a time and place to meet up at the show on Saturday? It would be cool to meet a few board members. We could party on Slammed's truck...err, I mean around his truck!

Maybe it should be the weekend you get away from the wife and kids! I doubt she'd approve of that though. Oh well, there is always next year.

Saturday should be the best day (biggest crowd). Like I said I'll be there all weekend in the truck (assuming it doesn't rain). So I guess look out for a slammed '67 or a slammed burb!
