Red face making my 70 into a 71-72

I have a 70 swb ...I want a chrome custom billet 71-72 style grille, I also want to get s chrome bumper...so my question is.should I just buy the grille kit and a 71-72 style bumper to relocate the fron signal lights?

You will also need 71/72 park lights, 71/72 outer bumper brackets, 71/72 center grill support, since your going with the chrome billet grill you should be able to use the 69/70 hood latch, but they are different than 71/72's

Damn...I didn't know all that.. the grill I wanted looks like a 71-72 outer grill with a billet insert but its all Chrome plated and classicindustries.com says it fits all 69-72 trucks? But it has no room for signal markers..so I was gonna relocate mine ..

they make billet grilles for our trucks, it looks the same except for above and below the fat middle bar has all the nice shiney inserts. just my opinion, but ive come to love the 69/70 grille over all the others, 71/72 imo being the ugliest of the group. but everyone has there own opinion

here is a few pics. #2 is from lmc. the #3, is like what you are talking about doing, here is an idea for signal markers, leave your bumper which doesnt have the markers in it, put this grille in, get on ebay and buy the 7" universal headlights they make for our trucks with the halo ring. they make them like the new camaro lights or full l.e.d ring, and then you can wire just the halo rings as your turn signal lights. just an idea.

Don't do it! The 69-70 grill is the best!
