Anyone replace inside cab steps?
I purchased both sides because mine were rusted thru in a couple places. Any tips on doing these right? How much of the existing step should I cut out? What's the best way to peel back the overlap floor metal that folds down over the top vertical part? The replacements include rocker

no actually it's pretty much like that, what they don't mention is how poorly any aftermarket panel fits.
the only thing different i did is to weld a piece of angle in the door frame to hold the jambs together. once you start it's not that hard, of coarse once you start you find more rust, but that's another story... the rocker will not match your cab or fender until you get a couple of guys to bend up/down to match.

They are not really that hard I just drilled out the spot weld and use a cut off wheel to cut it about and inch from the edges and just worked the old one out. The new one fit almost perfect then spot welded it back in.
