Thinking about Swapping my brothers disc brakes kit to Mcgaughys

I have the brother deluxe disc brake kit for my 66 c-10 and have been thinking about swapping it out for the McGaughys 13' ( part # 63311) or piecing a kit together like it since it mostly OEM parts. I really dont feel like spending another 750 bucks on brakes..

Does anyone have this kit on there truck?

Like's and dislikes about it?

Sorry to hijack but is there a reason that you are switching from the Brothers kit?

Brothers makes some great products, but so does McGaughys. There is one difference that would might help you decide. McGaughys offers a matching kit for the rear. They have the best price going for 13" brakes front and rear that I am aware of.

Bigger brake setup and I like the floating rotor design

Not sure what your reading, but the ones I have seen installed worked out great.

I used to have the mcgaughys rear brake kit on my truck. They fit and looked great. They do require some machining to the axles.

Great product for the money!
