reuse front coil springs or buy new ones???
i am doing a full frame off resto. my stock front springs sat nice and i am keeping the stock height. would you reuse your original 40 year old front coil springs or buy new ones? do they loose there spring over time?

Yes - over time they will lose their rate, and sag. If you like the height, then you might need to look at a shorter spring
I'd replace them. |

If it sits level and at a height you want, I wouldn't replace them. New springs will likely sit higher than your existing springs and if you are only doing the fronts, you run the risk of having the front higher than the rear. If you get springs with a lower spring rate you may end up with the reverse problem. JMO
