Re: What to do for armrests?

Welcome to the board!

Is that a Cheyenne Super?
I myself,... would install a set of nice original door panels.
Looks like a nice truck.
Got any more pictures?

Re: What to do for armrests?

Howdy,

I have been tossing ideas around myself and i think i am going to look into seeing if i can make something like this work

http://www.danchuk.com/ItemForm.aspx...7-a1b57296949b

http://www.ebay.com/itm/55-56-Chevy-...#ht_500wt_1413

I am not sure how these are fastened in the original car, but my dad ripped his old interior out of his 57 and i noticed these armrests but i didn't get a chance to see if they would work. I gotta look through the other 57s and see if there is a set i can experiment with.

Re: What to do for armrests?

those would be the perfect fit for my door pannels, there might be just a bolt on each side that holds it on.... i have been looking at different options since these are my budget door pannels and i found some stainless steel towl racks at home depot. they are the perfect legnth and stick out just enough to be flush with the window cranks and door pull. for $14 bucks its hard to beat, i just cant decide which way i want to go lol

The 1960 to 1966 armrests for the trucks look the same as the one from your Danchuk link and is a direct bolt on up to 1971
