Lokar Shifter
Has anyone here converted from a column shift automatic to a floor shift. I always see ads for Lokar and they look good, but I would like to know if anyone has any advice on the best way to go about switching, and who is the best. Also, is switching from a column-automatic to a 4-speed manual a worthwhile switch. Any experiences and opinions welcome.

I've used several Lokar shifters. They've all worked perfectly. Speedway motors is usually the cheapest place to get them.

I have a Lokar shifter on my 700R4 in my '68. It works great and looks great. Simple to install as well (at least when the tranny was out of the truck).
