Bought another one!
Brought home my latest purchase last night and unloaded it this morning! Needs a little cleanup, a new power steering belt (and maybe pump), and probably an HEI conversion just because... Probably drive it a bit until I decide what I want to do with it! Original SWB with saddle tanks... Haven't seen many dealer installed saddles on shortys, so if you have a picture of one I'd love to see it!!!

Nice truck and a shorty to boot. I swear all the good 67/72's that are left are in Oregon, Washington State and Idaho.

The shortcut in my signature has a few more pics. I'll try to get some better ones taken and posted this weekend. I'm thinking pretty seriously about taking the 383 stroker out of my son's project stepside and putting it in this. Maybe an overdrive as well? Going to have to look into doing a power steering and power brake conversion as well. Until I put more funds together its going to have to stay in tractor mode though...

Thanks Jocko! It is in pretty good shape for the price I paid. Has some passenger side rocker and cab corner rust, but that's about it.

If yours is like mine you need the saddle tanks.
Found out yesterday that mine is going to be adaily driver for a while. Insurance company totalled the jeep because of wreck last friday. |
