63' windshield trim
Hey,
I'm in the middle of my 63' swb bbw build and pulled the windshield out to get The cab ready for the rotisserie. Thinking forward....wondering about adding that pretty bright window molding trim. Front and back. Does it require a different rubber gasket? Where do I buy this stuff? I really like this site. But need a mentor to help me navigate through. Can't post pictures etc etc etc. Help! Anybody in N Ca? 1963 SWB bbw w/427 tri power 69' Vette motor, tubbed w/4 link. Posted via Mobile Device |

Re: 63' windshield trim
Front windshield requires a different rubber gasket. It has a channel in it for the stainless trim to go in. Back rubber is the same just uses a chrome locking bead instead of the plain black one.
Front trim is hard to find and not available aftermarket, So you gotta find a used one somewhere look under the vendors section for places to get the rubbers, Classic parts or LMC are two to try
