Re: Real home made gauge panel
yea the gauges aren't cheap. I was originally going to run a dual 5" setup. Then my dad sent me the water temp gauge and I figured what the hell and bought all the others to match.

Re: Real home made gauge panel
7075 billet alum aluminum. since this picture, all the guages, tach and lights work.
(and dont mind the mess of metal behind it, and the door panels, they have since been changed. |

Re: Real home made gauge panel
thanks guys. NOT TRYING TO HIJACK THREAD EITHER.... but heres a pic from about 5 months ago, its still in the works. i always say im gonna finish it but i always think of new ways to change things around to make them, more simpler or lighter. i have a few things in the making right now, along the lines of a full adjustable billet aluminum shifter mount, and lots of titanium goodies that ive been machining. i do have some pics on here floating around somewhere but they are 2 years old and so much has been changed since but heres the only one i have at the moment.

Re: Real home made gauge panel
Someone here has an older car dash fabbed in the cab and in primer. Aces cutouts over the speakers. I can't recall who or all the details, but it seems like its a 60's Impala dash into a square. It's not true home made, but the fab work posted is great and the look is all grins. Hopefully someone will see this thread that knows that truck, if not the actual owner himself.
