Should I give $7000 for this?
CL....not a bad looking longbed super. Repainted 3 years ago. New seat cover, rebuilt engine (20K miles) etc. Seems a little high considering that it is not completely finished...a/c needs a compressor and to be updated. Thoughts? Been looking for a super for a long time now.

Re: Should I give $7000 for this?
I was thinking $5K max...its down by the coast here in Texas and its doing it no favors. I have seen similiar for less than 7K but this one has been repainted and is the GMC Sierra Grande...think it even has cruise control. I would pay $6 all day long if it was a big block truck. Can't seem to find one of those with a/c, loaded.

Re: Should I give $7000 for this?
I would run around it with a magnet to check for previous rust repairs. look real close at the cab mounts etc. then I would only go $5500 if all that checks out to your satisfaction.

Re: Should I give $7000 for this?
I'd also say in the 5k range if it looks as good in person as in the pics.

Re: Should I give $7000 for this?
Thanks, my plan is to buy a blazer with the money so my wife and two girls can come along. Having two "old" cars just isn't in the cards for me right now, but I'll be sad to see it go if it sells. And I think it will be one of those things that you kick yourself for 10 years down the road. I always think of Skecial-K (I think) mentioning that he wishes he hadn't gotten rid of his custom camper.

That green and white chevy is pretty clean... I would not give 7 for that other truck.
